Mercy for None (2025) – English Review

Here comes the bringer of PAIN!

The brother of a retired gangster is killed and the retired gangster who is the bogeyman of the gangster world comes to kill the people responsible behind the murder of his brother.

Mercy for None is a short series that consists of seven episodes. And each episode has a run time of around 35 to 40 minutes, which is so nice after watching episodes that lasts for 80 minutes. Welcome to South Korea!

The story in Mercy for None is garbage. But this is a man’s TV series where no women are allowed, and even though I like South Korean hotties, I have to thank God even though I don’t believe in him. I repeat, this is TV series for real men who knows what it means to be a real man and not a fake one. But at the same time one of the villains here is using, and you know what I’m going to say now right? He is using lipstick! So he is not a real man, and he is not a woman either, so let’s send him to the West and see what the unhinged lunatics in the West makes him out to be.

It’s not often you watch TV series like this where the main focus is for the most part only on the action. Imagine watching the first John Wick movie where the beagle has been replaced by a gangster brother and his older brother is John wick combined with the boogie man himself, Michael Myers. He is a walking death machine that frightens everyone, and this is a man that takes no prisoners. He is a born killer, and this is also a pretty graphic series that will give you what you want if you enjoy hard-hitting fight scenes with a lot of blood, knife stabbings and close-ups of some nasty injuries. Finally, the violence has returned to South Korea!

But as I mentioned, the story is pretty awful and linear. You know how this will end and that most of the characters will die. So it’s not a TV series where you will bond to the characters because they are either insane, selfish, corrupt or wearing lipstick. And a man wearing lipstick is the worst sin of them all. Shame, shame!

Are you a real man? Are you tired of having women in the TV series you watch? Well, well come in, because only real men are allowed to watch Mercy for None.
