A man who is a cop is brutally killed by two men, and his young daughter is a witness to his murder. Many years have passed, and some greedy, old farts have earned a lot of money and climbed the social ladder after that murder. But what they don’t know is that the young girl has now grown into a fine woman, and she has nothing to live for except for the need to get her revenge and find the people responsible for the murder of her father. Time to kill!
After watching Sex & Fury for the second time, I felt I needed to review it again since I found it better the second viewing. It’s a movie that’s impressive with the cinematography and the storytelling about sweet and bloody revenge. You must remember the movie was made in 1973, and it has withstood the test of time.
I love how Reiko Ike plays the protagonist. She’s so good in this role, and even though she looks like a nice and calm housewife you should fear her. When she sees red, nobody should stand in her way because she will cut them down HARD! And she will do it without any clothes on since she doesn’t have the time to put her clothes on when evil men are out to kill her. But she will stand tall because she is a fine and deadly woman.
Then we have our Swedish friend, Christina Lindberg. She’s a terrible actress, but the movie wouldn’t have been the same without her because her terrible acting is so entertaining to watch. Especially when she has been a bad, bad girl, and she needs to be punished by the red-haired mustache devil. Oh, Christina, I think you enjoyed that scene too much, didn’t you?
The poker scene with the protagonist and Christina Lindberg is also a cool scene. Christina Lindberg doesn’t need to talk to show us how bad of an actress she is; you can just look at her body language. But she is so cute when holding and staring hard at her cards, so she’s excused.
The most irritating character in the movie is the man who’s Christina Lindberg’s love interest, the Final Fantasy guy. He’s also after revenge, and the man is a certified idiot! He is the worst revenger in movie history, and he fails whenever he tries to kill the person that also the protagonist wants to kill. He’s such an idiot! He’s a failure in life, and he doesn’t deserve the white, naughty, poker woman!
So what you will get in Sex and Fury is sex, romance, and violence. The sex scenes are pretty tame, but one scene is really important, and that’s the scene with the fine protagonist when she has found a target, and she smears her fine body with poison. That scene is so cool, and Reiko Ike owns this scene from start to finish. She is hot and very DEADLY! I think I could end my days like that, you know!
There are two bigger action scenes in the movie, and we find them at the start and towards the end of the movie. My favorite is the action scene towards the end since the lead-up has been perfectly set up after what happened on the train with the HOT nuns. In the next scene, Christina Lindberg has turned into a HOT Indian woman who punishes the protagonist who is chained up with her whip of PAIN!
When the protagonist finally escapes the dungeon of pain, it’s time for her to let her anger out that has been waiting for to get out. The way the protagonist is running in the corridor with her sword is so cool, and I love how sexy she is when she is smeared in blood after chopping down EVIL men! The way she looks and is dressed is just too much for my perverted heart! She looks so sexy with the blood on her body and her sexy sweat. Someone should have made a deodorant out of that blood and sweat. I would have bought it and used it as long as I lived.
After watching Sex & Fury a couple of times, I appreciate it more and more, and it’s pretty impressive to be a half-sleazy movie that has a story that works fine with the revenge plot and greedy men. And some shots are so awesome, and I need to check out more of the movies that Reiko Ike has starred in. She is a scene-stealer with the charisma and confidence that comes out when the camera rests on her face and fine body. Oh yeah! Give me some of that blood and sweat, and I will be a happy man for the rest of my life!
