Can this be a great Donnie Yen movie? Or will it be another miss?

I have given up on Donnie Yen and his pretty fishy movies since 2011. I loved how creative he was up until 2011, but after 2011 most of his movies have been terrible. He has the lead role in Sakra, and he also directs it, so let’s hope he tones down his Donnie Yen posing in front of the camera.
The story is based on a wuxia novel from 1963, Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, and I have no idea what the story is. But I guess there will be a lot of names and maybe a confusing story at the start of the movie if you have no idea about the novel and this universe.
But that’s okay. I’m here for the action scenes, and not for Donnie Yen’s terrible acting skills. And finally, it looks promising this time. The action scenes in the trailer look solid and fun, but Donnie Yen is no longer a young man, so let’s hope he puts all his energy into the action scenes like it’s his last martial movie.
What I’m afraid of is that the rest of the actors don’t have great martial arts skills. That can kill a lot of the fun, and I don’t know any of the other actors in the movie. There are a lot of women here, so that can kill the spark in me since I’m pretty certain that they are afraid of breaking a fingernail.
